Ahalya is a documentary short film written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is one of the best web based short film of India. To make equality with the script, expert actors were hired, the beautiful Radhika Apte for the title role, Dada Saheb Phalke Awad winner Soumitra Chatterjee acting as her husband and Tota Roj Chowdhury as a policeman. The film is in Bangla. For Non Bangla viewers subscripts in English is within the video which makes the video easily understandable to them if they are rehearsed in English. The story starts on the background plot in which a model named Arjun is missing who was last seen on Goutam Sadhu's(Soumitra) house. So to enquire about the matter policeman(Tota) goes to Goutam's house. Goutam is a famous sculpture artist. The revelation of facts as the film proceeds makes it thrilling and makes one sit on the edge of the seat. The film ends with a surprising climax. The film itself gives reference to the ancient epic Ramayana and as a story whole the film gives a nerve shivering message which was the motive of the film to reveal(download link for the message is given below). The best thing about the film is that different people can make out different interpretations from the film. The script, direction and acting, everthing is perfect in this short film. Special mention ought to be given to Radhika Apte for breathtaking acting involving little movements to show her seduction and deceit, and her elegant looks on the face throwing splash of undeciphered messages to make complete justice to the hardwork put in by Sujoy Ghosh in writing the script. It should be given 9.5 WVM points. YouTube Channel Name- LargeShortFilms Link to the first episode is here ->> www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ff...
