The neither too less nor too much talked about film by Khushboo Ranka and Vinay Shukla produced by Memesys Culture Lab, An Insignificant Man is finally being released on YouTube. The film have gathered praise from around the world in various film festivals. The film finally released in India after much loggerheads on 17th of November this year in various cities of the country mainly through the network of PVR cinemas, since it is a non cashable film though being a class apart, it was also not expected from it that it would be released like any other high budgeted Bollywood film. The film itself has been created with the help of crowd funding campaign. This left a large amount of people, a few from every city where the film was not released, who wanted to watch the film left unserved. The film is acquired by Vice Media, under whose channel only this one hour thirty eight minute long film has been released on YouTube now. The film is based on the day to day functioning of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), between December 2012 to December 2013, i.e., from just after the party is formed till the end of the state elections in Delhi. From movie we can see the amount of access filmmakers are given even during the most crucial internal workings of the party and they have made the most of it. In one interview they said that even the party people didn't expect that these filmmakers will create such a thing. The films depicts that modern countries need to understand that meaning of democracy is not giving the right of vote to every person but taking the view of every person for functioning of the country. This film gives perfect opportunity to people to witness the fact that how seasonal politicians change their colour while being on and off camera. The film is very well placed by judicially carving out one and a half hour film from an year long raw footage. The filmmakers must definitely be lauded for doing such a project. Watch the hotly served non-fictional political documentary, An Insignificant Man which is released on YouTube
